Residences at Biltmore Condo Guide
In 2005, Power Development purchased 6.6 acres and was located less than a mile from The Biltmore Gate House. These extravagant, contemporary, mid-rise hotel-style condominiums were completed in 2006. The exterior is constructed of a beautiful stacked stone ranging from 3-5 levels. An expert short-term management program is offered to owners to create additional income while they are gone. Professional management also coordinates housekeeping and scheduling repairs.
Each of the loft studios to 3-bedroom condos is tastefully decorated and includes stainless steel appliances in their fully equipped kitchens. They are turn-key, ready to set up residence, and enjoy the delightfully eclectic Asheville lifestyle and breathtaking mountain scenery. The grounds are nicely landscaped and maintained. The craftsmanship-style furnishings are comfortable yet refined style.
There is access to a health center that is clean and modern. The fitness buff would use treadmills, free weights, a recumbent bike, and pin-loaded resistance equipment. The outdoor heated swimming pool and hot tub invite you to swim a few laps, soak and relax, sit poolside, and watch the spectacular sunset. There is a new on-site restaurant, bar & lounge:
- Azalea Bar & Kitchen: Serves authentic Southern American cooking. It serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and is open every day but Wednesday. It serves organically grown produce. You can dine inside or outside and enjoy one of several of their collection of craft beer. (828)774-5969 5 Caledonia Road. azaleakitchen.com
The policy does accept pets under 40 lbs. in choice pet-friendly units with a deposit.
Biltmore Village and Biltmore Estate are practically at your doorstep. Biltmore Village is a charming place to visit, even for the most discriminate tastes. There are many unique shops lodged in historic cottages and one-of-a-kind buildings. There are several well-known restaurants to quell your appetite. It is a walkable neighborhood with brick sidewalks and a canopy of trees to shade the way. Amid the village sits The Cathedral of All Souls with remarkably distinctive architecture. And of course, the Biltmore Estates needs to be visited, instead of merely described. It offers over 800 acres of superbly maintained manicured grounds surrounded by the brilliant blue, purple and green hues of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The house itself is beyond compare.
There is free parking on the grounds. If you don't want to drive, you can walk to many areas, take a city bus or call a taxi.
These grounds are non-smoking. They have a fine and additional cost for any possible damage created by smoking.
