Clingman Lofts Condo Guide

Built in 2008, Clingman Lofts is a Mountain Housing Opportunities project. These units range anywhere from 624 square feet to 1125 square feet. Reinhardt Architecture, Inc. project manager Richard Everett meticulously designed these lofts and to ensure they would fit into their natural surroundings and be a warm welcome to the River Arts District. A centrally located stairwell fuses both halves of the building, links the different landings, and is topped off with a majestic metal roof.  The entire 22,000 square feet structure is comprised of 21 condominiums.

These condominiums combine the warmth of hardwood floors, ceramic floors in the bathroom(s) with solid surface materials. There are delightful vaulted ceilings in the 3rd-floor units.  They are certified by Energy Star NC Healthy built guaranteeing a low impact on the environment and low energy bills. If you are looking for views, you have exceptional views of the bustling River Arts District, and the upper floors have partial mountain views.

Luxury Amenities

Each condominium has a balcony to take in the mountain air; people watch or have their own contained green space. There is also one assigned parking space and 9-foot ceilings making space seem larger than it is. Need extra storage space?  You would have access to lockable, climate-controlled storage space.

Pet Friendly

These units are pet friendly (both dogs and cats), and Aston Park is only .03 miles away, giving your beloved pet a place to roam. Or if you travel a little farther, you and your pet can enjoy the two-mile greenway and bike path in the River Arts District.

Each unit has one individually assigned parking space. Asheville has a well-used transit bus system, and these covered stops are conveniently located within walking distance.

Since the Clingman Lofts are centrally located between the River Arts District and Downtown, walking to places of interest doesn't pose much of a problem.  Whether it be to explore artist studios and galleries in the district or taking a leisurely walk to catch a movie at the Grail Movie Theater.
