Beverly Condo Guide

Prominently perched at 615 Biltmore Ave within strolling distance of key social and public amenities are the townhouse-type residential units. Built in 1949, all 146 units feature 1950s-style architecture, with retouched original hardwood-style floors, modernized kitchen, and baths. They come in one-, two- and four-bedroom units, with 565 to 1600 square feet of living space. There’s ample parking space for each unit at the wooded parking lot. The location, coupled with design and amenities, makes the condos ideal for family residence.

Townhome Perks

In addition to being located in a fairly quiet and safe neighborhood, the layout of the 1-story building is family-friendly. The well-kept lawns, together with ample walkways, make Beverly Condominiums children-friendly. Whether you want to have an impromptu family picnic under the shades or teach your little one cycling, the landscaped front and back yards will facilitate just that.

Lifestyle and Convenience

Living in a family-friendly neighborhood and residence is meaningless if you or your kids have to journey to access the amenities that matter most. Thankfully, Beverly Condominiums are strategically located to sustain effortless family lifestyle. Given Mission Hospital, which is just a stone throw away, the more than eight public schools (elementary to high), to dozens of grocery stores and restaurants—all within a 10-minute driving distance, you can be sure to have a hassle-free family life.

Floor Plans

There are one-, two, and four-bedroom units. Only the 1-and 2-bedroom units are currently on the market. The one-bedroom (540-655 sq. ft.) units are one-level living at its best. They have one full bath and are going for $110-150k. A two-bedroom unit (792-1053 sq. ft.) will set you back anywhere between $150K and $200K. It comes with one full bath, which is located upstairs alongside the two bedrooms.

Building Description

The white walls may appear quite rugged for a downtown Asheville condo—they 50s suburban townhouses after all—but don't be too quick to dismiss the house. If you fancy the post-war home building design, there’s absolutely no reason not to fall in love with Beverly condominiums. You won’t see a chimney on any of these classics— a standard appointment of this era—but they do have spacious, attentively finished rooms. Large wardrobes and walk-in closets compliment the roomy living spaces. The original hardwood floors, combined with wooden staircases and railings, provide a rustic chic aesthetic.

Building Construction

The one- and two-bedroom condos are available on a long-term (12 months) lease at between $900 and $1200. The buildings are pet-friendly, and HOA fees apply.

Beverly Condominiums, while they do not feature upmarket or modern luxury, compared to the nearby futuristic Falconhurst condos, or the leafy 500 S Skyloft Dr, they come with sufficient building and unit amenities to meet any modern family-style setup.

Beverly Condominiums are located south of downtown Asheville, placing residents within just minutes of the city’s social amenities. A five-minute drive away, at the south slope district are eateries, breweries, lounges, and indoor and outdoor recreational spots.

Early Girl Eatery

Early Girl Eatery is a popular locally-owned restaurant known for its brunch options with locations in Downtown Asheville, West Asheville, and North Asheville. Food is local and there are great vegan and vegetarian options.

Tip: If you like spicy foods ask for the habanero sauce on the side. Gets crowded on weekends.

What to order: The pork breakfast bowl or fried chicken and biscuits are staples.

8 Wall Street Asheville, NC 28801.

Pie.Zaa is a relatively new pizza joint on the South Slope, just a short walk from downtown Asheville. Pie.Zaa is serving up big (28 inches to be exact), quality pies. Think “crispy, airy, slightly chewy” - the perfectly oversized New York slice. The best in Asheville.

Tip: These pies are big. If you order, be prepared to share, or have leftovers.

What to order: You can’t go wrong with the classic “roni” pie. It’s a crowd-pleaser.

46 Millard Ave, Asheville, NC 28801.

Mela Indian Restaurant

Mela Indian Restaurant in Downtown Asheville, just a short walk from the Arras. Vegan and gluten free options are available.

Tip: Be sure to add naan to your order - Mela’s bread dough is hand made and prepared in a tandoor oven.

What to order: Try out the butter chicken with some garlic naan.

70 N Lexington Ave, Asheville, NC 28801.
