When people think about Asheville’s food scene, the first thing that comes to mind is usually the beer. And that’s not surprising. The current tally stands at about 40 breweries serving up brews in our modest town of about 90,000 people, lending credence to Asheville’s unofficial title: “Beer City, USA.”
